The Scammon Bay Eagles came tearing into Thursday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past St. Mary 92-47 on the road. That looming 92-47 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Scammon Bay yet this season.
Leading Scammon Bay to victory were Stewie Sundown and Josiah Sundown. Sundown scored 20 points, while Sundown scored 32 points. Sundown hasn't dropped below 16 points for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden George, who scored eight points.
Scammon Bay has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for St. Mary's, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.
Scammon Bay's road trip will continue as they head out to face Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 6:30 p.m. on February 15th. Scammon Bay has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. St. Mary's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
