Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pueblo South to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jake Pisciotta, who picked up 219 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Those 219 receiving yards gave Pisciotta a new career-high. Namon Robinson did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 170 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, Windsor made easy work of Severance on Saturday and carried off a 28-7 victory. The Wizards' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Windsor had a senior duo take command as Mason Moore rushed for 131 yards and one TD on only 12 carries and Adrian Czyszczon rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores. Czyszczon is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last four games he's played.
Windsor was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Severance only rushed for 123.
Windsor didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Toby Anderson, Andrew Miller, and Ryan Myers picked up one apiece. Myers got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Pueblo South's record is now 9-2. As for Windsor, their record now sits at 11-0.
