Donnie Warren continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 216 yards and four TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Jay Feltus did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 88 receiving yards.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Feltus, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Clarke Central's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Welter, who threw for 247 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Nuhsi Valenti was another key player, rushing for 117 yards and one score.
Habersham Central is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.0 points over those games. As for Clarke Central, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
