Kiski Area and Penn-Trafford go head to head this Friday at 7:30 PM. Penn-Trafford will be looking to take advantage of a struggling Kiski Area defense that has allowed an average of 27 points per game.
Kiski Area lost to Gateway 22 - 13 last week. The team got a solid performance out of junior running back Ross Greece (he ran for 85 yards and punched in two touchdowns); unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. Greece has now scored at least one TD in the past five consecutive games.
As for Penn-Trafford, last game was the first rocky defensive outing for it this year. It has to be hurting after the devastating 42 - 17 loss at the hands of Armstrong last week. The game was close at halftime with a score of 14 - 10, but Penn-Trafford simply couldn't keep up in the second half.
After their losses, Kiski Area dropped to 4-4 and Penn-Trafford dropped to 5-3. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point (three losses in a row), but one team's luck is about to change.
