Ty Jones Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Russell Christian Academy got the W thanks in part to Ty Jones playing the best football he has all season. Jones' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 62 yards.
Victory Christian's probably not too fond of Jones given he always seems to get the better of them. Jones rushed for 247 yards and a touchdown while picking up 10.3 yards per carry, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Eagles duked it out back in October of 2023.

Tuscaloosa Christian picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Jackson Harris. Harris did his part (and then some), picking up 46 receiving yards and a touchdown, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground for the 'W'.
This season, Harris has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 56.7 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had five rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to 13.

On the season, Harrison has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 136 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season, he was only averaging 2.2 rushing yards per game.
