While it was all tied up 27-27 at halftime, the D.H. Conley Vikings were not quite the South Central Falcons's equal in the second half on Tuesday. D.H. Conley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while South Central is ranked 25th).
Despite the loss, D.H. Conley still got an impressive performance from Ella Pierre-Louis, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. Pierre-Louis has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Moira Skalak was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six rebounds.
D.H. Conley's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for South Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-2.
