The Tour of Champions is no stranger to Arizona, having honored many high schools from the Greater Phoenix Area over the past 14 years. Chandler is no exception. As part of the TOC, the Wolves were honored with a trophy presentation at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game against Basha, a 57-47 Chandler win.
The Wolves were presented with commemorative TOC T-shirts from the Arizona Army National Guard. Then, once halftime arrived, MaxPreps representative Danielle Ferrante took center court and discussed Chandler's fantastic 13-1 football season before introducing Sergeant Monique Moore of the Arizona Army National Guard.
SGT Moore spoke briefly about teamwork, dedication and excellence, shared character traits of the Army National Guard and a state championship football team before presenting head coach Shaun Aguano and the Wolves with the Army National Guard national ranking trophy and a nationally ranked rafter banner as the crowd exploded with excitement. One of only fifty football programs being honored on this year's TOC, the Chandler Wolves completed an outstanding football season, earning a third Army National Guard national ranking trophy. Congratulations to Coach Aguano and the Wolves on your fantastic championship season! We look forward to seeing you in the future for trophy No. 4! Click
