The Josey Eagles can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 70-10 win over Westside. The victory was familiar territory for Josey who now have seven in a row.
Josey found their leader in underclassman Kerri Fluellen, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten assists. Fluellen is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tymiria Mack, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Josey pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their 16th straight at home. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 33.13 points. As for Westside, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Josey will take on Washington County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 179th, while Josey is ranked 23rd). As for Westside, they will head out on the road to challenge Thomson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomson is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
