The Western Warriors will square off against the Cheyenne Desert Shields at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
If Western beats Cheyenne with 15 runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matchups with that exact score. The Warriors didn't even let Sunrise Mountain on the board on Thursday, marking the Warriors' second-straight 15-0 shutout. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Miners: they've now won nine in a row.

He has become a key player for Western: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 6-12 otherwise. Like Western, Cheyenne also got a great game from a two-way player: Raymundo Chevalier. Throwing, Chevalier pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Adrian Catalan pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Chevalier has been consistent: he hasn't given up a single hit in five consecutive appearances. At the plate, Chevalier went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Catalan went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Western hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .330. However, it's not like Cheyenne struggles in that department as they've averaged .313. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
