Jesuit was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in 6A Metro. Earlier in the week, the Crusaders defeated Sunset 27-21.
Aloha extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Westview, 50-28. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Beaverton's Kyle Eckrosh and Davasyia Hagger have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Eckrosh has thrown for 776 yards this season, while Hagger, a 6-foot-4 receiver, has 17 catches for 325 yards. Aloha's Thomas Tyner leads the league in rushing yards with 1484.
The marquee game in 6A Metro this week will be the clash between Southridge and the Apollos. The Skyhawks enters the contest ranked 13th in the state, while Sunset ranks 14th.
There should be lots of points scored when Chris Casey's team and the Beavers face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Warriors comes in having scored 178 this season, while Beaverton has scored 131. Aloha scored 50 points last week as it beat the Wildcats.
Jesuit and Mike Mitchell's team played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Jesuit eventually emerging with a 27-21 victory.
