McCrory extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 11-3. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Des Arc Eagles an 11-0 shutout. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

As for Des Arc, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8. The game marked the first time this year in which they were not able to get on the board.

For Des Arc's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hudson Goodman, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Looking ahead, McCrory will be playing in front of their home fans against Rivercrest at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Des Arc, they will venture away from home to challenge Carlisle at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bison have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed seven runs per game on average), something the Eagles will no doubt try to take advantage of.
