Basketball Recap: Camden County Skates Past Glynn Academy with Ease

Camden County won the last time they faced Glynn Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wildcats blew past the Terrors 74-37. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Micah Reed went supernova, shooting 48% from the field on his way to 31 points. Those 31 points gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jermaine Mack, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Camden County and bumps their season record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points over those games. As for Glynn Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Camden County and Bradwell Institute will round out the year against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Glynn Academy, they will face off against Griffin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
