The Leuzinger Olympians will square off against the La Canada Spartans at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday. Leuzinger is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.8 points per game this season.

Leuzinger saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 64-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of South. The Olympians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Tatyana Aubry, who posted 24 points. That was a full 40.7% of Leuzinger's points, marking the third time in a row Aubry has scored more than a third of the team's points. Brianna Ike was another key player, dropping a double-double with 17 points and ten boards.

Meanwhile, La Canada was beaten by Redondo Union 70-33 on Wednesday.

Leuzinger's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for La Canada, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Leuzinger came out on top in a nail-biter against La Canada when the teams last played back in December of 2019, sneaking past 57-54. Do the Olympians have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Spartans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
