The Potlatch Loggers were the 67-59 winner over the Kendrick Tigers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Potlatch took a 60-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of Kendrick. Potlatch has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Hunter Taylor continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kendrick, scoring 22 points along with five rebounds. Ty Koepp was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Potlatch's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3. As for Kendrick, their win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Potlatch will take on Lapwai at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lapwai will roll in looking for their 13th straight win, something Potlatch surely won't give up without a fight. As for Kendrick, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome St. Maries at 2:30 p.m. on February 10th.
