Gibson County won against Peabody last Friday with 59 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Gibson County Pioneers blew past the Milan Bulldogs 59-18. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Gibson County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Emily Skinner, who posted 13 points. Those 13 points gave Skinner a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Georgia Lannom, who earned 12 points.

Gibson County has been performing well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points per game. As for Milan, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.

Gibson County will square off against Ripley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Milan, they will challenge Westview at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Westview's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Milan has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
