The Wildwood Warriors won the last time they faced the Millville Thunderbolts, and things went their way on Saturday too. Wildwood secured a 52-47 W over Millville. The win made it back-to-back wins for Wildwood.
Wildwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Junior Hans, who scored 19 points along with six rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian Cunniff, who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds.
Wildwood has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Millville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-8.
Wildwood's road trip will continue as they head out to face Pitman at 5:30 p.m. on January 30th. Pitman will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Millville, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Bridgeton at 5:30 p.m.
