The Real Life Christian Academy Raptors came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.2 points) and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past Sonrise Christian with points to spare, taking the game 66-50.
Leading Real Life Christian Academy to victory were Donovan Sepulveda and Lane Engle. Sepulveda scored 20 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Engle scored 19 points along with six assists and four steals. It was the first time this season that Engle scored 15 or more points. Evan Wright was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.
Real Life Christian Academy pushed their record up to 16-3 with that victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Sonrise Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
