Pharaoh Compton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 32 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Arbor View's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brian ?Chef? Townsend, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Las Vegas lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tayshaun Jackson. Despite the final result, he scored 27 points. The game was Jackson's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jakhai Jones, who scored 9 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals.
Even though they lost, Las Vegas were working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Arbor View only racked up 18.
Arbor View's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Las Vegas, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Arbor View will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Durango at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Durango is ranked 46th, while Arbor View is ranked 27th).
