Edison had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Brooklyn Center 28-26. Brooklyn Center can consider this payback for the 12-37 loss they dealt Edison the last time the teams encountered one another. The game leaves both teams with the exact same record at 0-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Edison will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Concordia Academy at 5:00 PM. As for Brooklyn Center, they will face off against St. Agnes.
