The All S Saints came into Tuesday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They secured a 62-56 W over Liberty Christian on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Easton Hupp, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chuka Akpom, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Even though they lost, Liberty Christian were working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. This was only their 18th loss (out of 28 games) when they've passed the ball that well.
All S's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Liberty Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-20 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. All S will take on Southwest Christian School at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Southwest Christian School presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than All S in Texas (Southwest Christian School is ranked 212th, while All S is ranked 725th). As for Liberty Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Midland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Midland Christian is coming into the match with four straight victories on the road, meaning Liberty Christian will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
