The DC International Dragons had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 57-51 win over Avalon on Saturday. The victory was just what DC International needed coming off of a 72-34 loss in their prior contest.
DC International was led to victory by Jordan Mason and Gavin Moore. Mason scored 15 points, while Moore scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhalil Route, who scored six points.
DC International's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Avalon, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
DC International will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Washington Leadership Academy at 7:30 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in District of Columbia (Washington Leadership Academy is ranked 33rd, while DC International is ranked 28th). Avalon is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Barrie at 4:30 p.m. on January 9th.
