Harbor has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will face off against the Anzar Hawks at 5:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Last Saturday, Harbor ended up a good deal behind Marina and lost 29-15. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Harbor came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 510th, while Marina is ranked 1184th).
Despite the defeat, Harbor saw an underclassman step up: Lily Defelice scored 7 points.
Meanwhile, Anzar suffered a rough 45-23 defeat at the hands of Gilroy on Wednesday. Anzar has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Harbor's win lifted them to 4-2 while Marina's loss dropped them down to 1-3.
Harbor strolled past Anzar in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 34-15. The rematch might be a little tougher for Harbor since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
