The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Veritas Christian Academy has scored all season.
Veritas Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nicholas Jetton, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. It was the first time this season that Jetton posted two or more blocks. Aiden Bennett was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with 12 rebounds.
Veritas Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Varsity Opponent, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 366-1308-2.
Veritas Christian Academy and the will face off at 4:30 p.m. on February 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Kearny Christian Academy is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Varsity Opponent, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Cardinals at 10:30 a.m. on February 4th.
