On Friday, Robinson was able to grind out a solid win over Salisbury, taking the game 57-48.
Robinson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ella Hobbs out in front who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Hobbs has scored at least 25% of Robinson's points. Camri Hobbs was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
The victory got Robinson back to even at 1-1. As for Salisbury, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Robinson will head out on the road to face off against West Cabarrus at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Salisbury, they will be playing at home against Parkland at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Parkland comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
