Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran extended the longest winning streak in Great 8 (8 Man) this week by beating Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, 43-8. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Bowler/Gresham Community and Oneida Nation played the closest game in the league this week, with Bowler/Gresham Community eventually emerging with a 36-30 victory.
Nick Kita threw for 238 yards and 5 touchdowns. He went 19-23 with 0 interception.
Drew Tanck was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 246 yards on 15 carries as Sevastopol fell to the Panthers. Quin Schram also contributed to the rushing game with 113 yards on the ground.
Matson was the best receiver in Great 8 (8 Man) this week as Oneida Nation lost to Bowler/Gresham Community. Matson tallied 3 receptions for 159 yards. Isaiah Charles helped Oneida Nation's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 30 yards.
Tanck was a force in the backfield as the Pioneers beat Three Lakes.
Kita put up the best numbers in passing as Gibraltar bested Oakfield. Kita's favorite target this week was Matt Andersen, who caught 3 passes for 93 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Vikings' Kita and Austin Bauldry have proven to be a lethal combination. Kita has thrown for 1,114 yards this season, while Bauldry, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 24 catches for 387 yards. Wayland Academy's Blake Neuman leads the league in rushing yards with 1,114.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Dick Hasseler's team and Abundant Life. Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran enters the game ranked fourth in the state, while the Challengers ranks 17th.
