The Leuzinger Olympians can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Centennial 73-29 at home. Winning may never get old, but Leuzinger sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Leuzinger was led to victory by Malachi Knight and Da?mari Taylor. Knight scored 17 points, while Taylor scored 17 points. That's the first time this season that Taylor scored 15 or more points. Darrian Henry was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Leuzinger is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. As for Centennial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Leuzinger will square off against Morningside at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Morningside has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20. As for Centennial, they will head out on the road to take on Inglewood at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Inglewood has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 287 points over their last four games.
