They breezed by Brookwood on the road to the tune of 60-22. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Hueytown has managed all season.
Braylon Patton was his usual excellent self, scoring 16 points. The contest was his 12th in a row with at least ten points.
Despite the defeat, Brookwood saw an underclassman step up: Taylor Crummie scored eight points. Crummie continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.
Hueytown is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Brookwood, they bumped their record down to 1-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hueytown will take on Wenonah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Wenonah's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games. As for Brookwood, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Holt at 7:30 p.m. on December 12th. Holt is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.
