While Bishop Diego's win against Cate wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Rams on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Bishop Diego got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-0, 0-25, 25-0, 0-25, 15-0.

Bishop Diego's record now sits at 19-11. As for Cate, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Bishop Diego will challenge Laguna Blanca at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Owls will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight. As for Cate, they will face off against Carpinteria at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
