The Lakeway Christian Academy Lions were the 81-53 winner over the Grace Christian Academy Rams when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Several Lions players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kami Wilson, who scored 27 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. That was a full 50% of Lakeway Christian Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Ellie Linx, who scored 18 points along with two steals.
Grace Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Alexis Hammock, who scored 28 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hammock has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Katie Gonzalez, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds.
Lakeway Christian Academy has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Grace Christian Academy, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.
