After losing to the Camden Catholic Fighting Irish the last time they met, the Sterling Silver Knights decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Sterling came out on top against Camden Catholic by a score of 36-26 on Saturday.
Sterling's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Erin Quinn led the charge by scoring 12 points along with five steals. Quinn hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Lexi Kuhn was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds.
The victory got Sterling back to even at 12-12. As for Camden Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sterling is on the road again on Friday and plays Camden Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on February 16th. Camden Catholic will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Holy Cross at 5:15 p.m. on February 12th.
