Colonia (N.J.) kept up a steady attack all game long to defeat
Kennedy Memorial (Iselin, N.J.), 35-7, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, the Patriots were up 22-6 at the half.
Colonia grew its lead to 30 points entering the fourth quarter. CHS scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Sam Pero.
Kennedy Memorial's only touchdown came on a run in the second quarter.
A 27-0 Colonia victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
Kennedy Memorial (0-1) will play a Greater Middlesex - White game against Bishop Ahr next week, while Colonia (2-0) will take on St. Joseph also in a Greater Middlesex - White game.
