The Rosman Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were dealt a 81-36 loss at the hands of Madison. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rosman in their matchups with Madison: they've now lost four in a row.
Loss or not, Rosman got some senior leadership from Kaesyn Mccoy who scored 11 points along with five rebounds and Mason Meece who scored ten points.
Madison got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Gault out in front who scored 25 points. Gault continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jason Eighmey, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Rosman's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Madison, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7.
Rosman will head out on the road to face off against Owen at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Owen's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Draughn at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Draughn is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
