On Friday Chattahoochee take on Pope at 7:30 PM. Both teams have had a rocky road up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-42, which was the final score in Chattahoochee's tilt against Johns Creek last week. Chattahoochee's loss came about despite a quality game from junior Damon Stewart, who accumulated 143 passing yards and picked up 40 yards on the ground.
Meanwhile, Pope were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their match against Alpharetta. Pope came up short against Alpharetta, falling 14-26. The matchup was a 7-7 toss-up at halftime, but Pope were outplayed the rest of the way.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
