The Stanton Blue Devils were the 55-44 winner over the Menendez Falcons when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Stanton fell 39-32 to Menendez on Tuesday.
Stanton's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Filip Jakovljevic, who scored 12 points. Raza Cottey was another key contributor, scoring 8 points along with 15 rebounds.
Stanton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Menendez, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Stanton will head out on the road to face off against St. Johns Country Day at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Johns Country Day will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive. Menendez will take on St. Augustine at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
