The Basis Yeti can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent match on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 78-44 victory over St. Michael at home. This was a revenge match for Basis, as the team was forced to settle for a 43-37 loss when these two played last Thursday.
Jack Engelthaler continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 40 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Basis' points. Lincoln Bradford was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Basis is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for St. Michael, their loss dropped their record down to 8-16.
Basis will head out on the road to take on the Apaches at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Fort Thomas will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. St. Michael does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
