Pueblo South and Lewis-Palmer are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2018, but not for long. The Colts will challenge the Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Pueblo South's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
Pueblo South is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Harrison: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Colts blew the Panthers out of the water with a 62-21 final score. The win continues a trend for the Colts in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Pueblo South got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Chace Hurley out in front who rushed for 107 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave Hurley a new career-high. Jake Pisciotta got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Pueblo South didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Namon Robinson and Pisciotta.
Meanwhile, Lewis-Palmer hadn't done well against Discovery Canyon recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Rangers came out on top against the Thunder by a score of 21-13.
Pueblo South better keep an eye on Greg Moore. He was instrumental in Lewis-Palmer's win, rushing for 200 yards and one score while picking up 10.0 yards per carry. Moore's longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.
Lewis-Palmer was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 258 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 156 rushing yards in nine consecutive contests dating back to last season.
One reason for the win was Lewis-Palmer's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Dawson Zahl was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself. Lewis-Palmer received some extra help from Jevon Davis, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Pueblo South's record now sits at 6-2. As for Lewis-Palmer, their record is now 5-3.
Pueblo South couldn't quite finish off Lewis-Palmer when the teams last played back in November of 2024 and fell 28-26. Can the Colts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
