It was a good run, but the Progreso Red Ants unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 43-26 bruising from Freer. Progreso found out winning isn't easy when your three-point shooting is a whole 33% worse than the opposition.

Progreso will take on McMullen County at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. McMullen County's defense has only allowed 23 points per game this season, so Progreso's offense will have their work cut out for Progreso. Freer is on the road again on Thursday and play against San Isidro at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. San Isidro is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
