Football Recap: Red Hill Starts Season with Victory Against Hamilton County + How To Watch

Red Hill took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 23-14 win over the Hamilton County Foxes.

Leading Red Hill to victory were Holden Jacobsen and Avery Arbuckle. Jacobsen rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown, while Arbuckle threw for 105 yards and a pair of TDs. What's more, Arbuckle racked up 108.6 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September of 2024.

Another reason for the win was Red Hill's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Jacobsen, Cohen Trainer, and Colby Crutchfield, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Although Hamilton County took the loss, they still got scores from Braxton MIller and Dallas Benbrook.

Red Hill has already played their next matchup, a 36-28 loss against Fairfield on the 6th. As for Hamilton County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 34-14 defeat against Sesser-Valier/Waltonville on the 5th.
