Crescenta Valley's leading rusher did his thing again on Thursday. Xavier Thompson wasn't messing around, rushing for 180 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.0 yards per carry. The game was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns.

Thompson and Crescenta Valley are taking a road trip to challenge Burroughs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Thompson up against the Bears' star signal caller Brandon Chapparo.
