The Freeman Scotties waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with 13 straight wins but they left with 14. They were the clear victor by a 68-46 margin over Medical Lake. Freeman has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matches by 20 points or more this season.
Freeman got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Zehm out in front who scored 18 points along with four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Zehm has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Finn Lapointe, who scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Freeman's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.4 points per game. As for Medical Lake, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.
Freeman does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Medical Lake will be playing at home against the Eagles at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeside will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
