Roxborough took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They really took it to the George Washington Eagles for the full four quarters, racking up a 78-48 victory. The Wolves not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 23rd (when they won 78-18).
Roxborough got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Quincy Wells out in front who dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards. Terah Morris was another key player, going 5-for-6 to rack up 12 points.
Roxborough was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as George Washington only racked up eight.
Despite the loss, George Washington saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Dontae Dorsey posted nine points. Another player making a difference was Aisaiah Young, who put up nine points.
