Adding to the longest winning streak in Pacific this week, Burbank beat Pasadena 42-7. The win marks fifth in a row for the the Bulldogs.
Burroughs moved up to 463 from 559 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Indians were able to move up by topping Crescenta Valley 24-17.
Ryan Meredith threw for 92 yards and 3 touchdowns. He was 8-11 with 0 interceptions.
Meredith put up the best numbers in passing as Burbank beat the Bulldogs. Meredith's favorite target this week was Oharjee Brown, who caught 6 passes for 60 yards.
The Falcons' Brian Gadsby and Jordan Lobianco led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Gadsby has thrown for 1,268 yards this season, while Lobianco has 20 catches for 359 yards. James Williams from Hector Valencia's team leads the league in rushing with 469 yards.
One of Pacific's premier quarterbacks will face off with its top pass rusher when Crescenta Valley and the Bulldogs face off next week.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Paul Schilling's team takes on Burbank. As it stands, the Falcons are in third, while the Bulldogs are in first.
There should be lots of points scored when Crescenta Valley and Burbank face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Falcons comes in having scored 194 this season, while the Bulldogs have scored 241. Crescenta Valley scored 17 points last week as it lost to Burroughs.
Muir took down Glendale 40-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
