Pembroke is 6-0 against Webber since January of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Pembroke Dragons will look to defend their home court against the Webber Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Pembroke came up short against Elba and fell 54-46.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jayden Hootman, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Onolee Easterbrook, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Webber had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. Their tough 53-27 defeat to Notre Dame back in December of 2023 might stick with them for a while. Webber has not had much luck with Notre Dame recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Pembroke has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Webber, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Pembroke barely slipped by Webber when the teams last played back in January of 2022, winning 64-63. Does Pembroke have another victory up their sleeve, or will Webber turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
