On Friday Victory Christian Center take on Hickory Grove Christian at 7:00 PM. Victory Christian Center come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
Things haven't been easy for Victory Christian Center, and their contest last Saturday only extended their streak of losses to six. They ended up forfeiting their contest against Northside Christian Academy 0-2 last Saturday.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Hickory Grove Christian lost to Asheville School (Independent) two weeks ago, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-55. The state rankings had actually given Hickory Grove Christian a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. We'll see if Victory Christian Center are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting matchup than their last) when the teams meet up.
