With a playoff win on the line, Forsyth rose to the challenge on Friday. They managed a 33-29 win over the Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish. The victory was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won six contests in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forsyth to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tamarkus Holmes, who rushed for 112 yards and one touchdown, and also picked up 59 receiving yards.all of that, receiving production came thanks to one massive catch Thomas Strahan was in the mix as well, providing the Panthers with two TDs.

Forsyth's record is now 8-3. As for Springfield Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record this season.

Forsyth will face off against Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles' defense has only allowed 9.4 points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them. Springfield Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
