It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Fort Cherry Rangers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against Bishop Canevin by a score of 33-21. Fort Cherry's win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Fort Cherry found their leader in underclassman Matt Sieg, who rushed for 166 yards and five touchdowns.
Fort Cherry's victory bumped their record up to 13-0. As for Bishop Canevin, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2.
Fort Cherry is on the road again on Friday and play against South Side at 11:00 a.m. on November 24th. South Side will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line. Bishop Canevin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
