Eastmoor Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was James Nowell out in front who scored 14 points along with seven assists and seven rebounds. King Moody was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with two steals.
Eastmoor Academy pushed their record up to 5-6 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points per game. As for Marion-Franklin, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Eastmoor Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Africentric Early College at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Africentric Early College's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. As for Marion-Franklin, they will head out on the road to face off against Briggs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
