In what's become a running theme this season, the Hagerty Huskies gave their fans yet another huge victory on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mount Dora 63-30 on the road. The victory was nothing new for Hagerty as they're now sitting on six straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hagerty to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Dipaolo, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Isaac Lopez, who scored 12 points.
Hagerty's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 17-7. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points per game. As for Mount Dora, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.
Hagerty will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Wolves at 7:30 p.m. Timber Creek will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 351st, while the Huskies are ranked 127th). As for Mount Dora, they and the Panthers will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Eustis has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 523 points over their last eight contests.
