After a string of four wins, the Russell Red Devils's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They received a tough blow as they fell 77-62 to Lawrence County. Russell's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5. As for Lawrence County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Russell will take on Greenup County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lawrence County, they will be playing at home against Floyd Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
