Kings Mountain came out on top against Huss on Friday thanks in part to Avery Cruise's efforts. Cruise did her part (and then some), scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances for the 'W'. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Looking ahead, Cruise and Kings Mountain will face off against North Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kings Mountain has been dominating at home and they will enter the contest having won four straight home games dating back to last season.
